The Cherry Valley Fire Protection District (the “District”), Winnebago and Boone Counties, Illinois, is located southeast of Rockford, Illinois and encompasses approximately 25 square miles and serves the Village of Cherry Valley and unincorporated areas of Winnebago and Boone Counties.  The Cherry Valley Fire Protection District is a multifunction fire protection and life-safety organization. The District provides fire, emergency, medical, and other life safety services to those who reside, work, and travel through the area.

“The mission of the Cherry Valley Fire Protection District is to protect lives and property through proactive prevention, education, and professional fire, rescue and emergency medical services.”

The District maintains two fire stations, as well as, a regional training facility and an administration building.
